National EMS Scope of Practice Proposal

This is a proposed agenda for the future of EMS in the United States. The NJSFAC has been solicited to provide feedback. While individuals are free to respond to the parties indicated in the document with their comments, we have been advised that the committee reviewing the comments would definitely pay more attention to comments supplied by a large professional organization such as the NJSFAC. Therefore we would like comments directed back to us, via the education email address, prior to November 20, 2004.

We plan to compose a position statement to send to the feds, before the end of the comment period; mid January 2005. Our next Education Committee meeting is the November 21, 2004 and we would like to begin then so we can present it to the Executive Board.
