EMS Line of Duty Death Folks, One of our own has died while trying to help a person in need. It's time we all step up to the plate and show our support for the Old Bridge squad. I am asking that all squads fly their flags at half mast for the next week out of respect for Mr. Dodridge's sacrifice. Every EMS organization in the state should make the effort, no matter how difficult, to have at least one member present at the funeral. Particulars are below. I am asking all NJSFAC officers to make an extra effort to attend the wake and the funeral. Additionally, please personally contact your squads and communicate this. Thanks EMT Dodridge gave his life in the line of duty on 15 March 2004, when struck by a vehicle while attempting to render aid at the scene of a motor vehicle accident.
